Yesterday
was a day of preparation. As we were staying an extra night we had to
move berths. The marina was getting very full as boats poured in for the local
regatta starting this weekend. After a day of cleaning and restocking the boat
for the next four or five days we were just settling down to a coffee when the
gas ran out. Paul went off to find more gas and rewarded his success with a
pistachio ice-cream. This was followed by another excellent dinner.
Today
was another beautiful day as we slipped out of our very tight berth for a gentle
sail (with some motoring) to the Ile de Groix where we have anchored off the
southern tip in the company of another ten yachts. On the way there were
two very heavy downpours but it was warm rain and we soon dried out.
