Day 41

One day off Springs so the tide was gurgling furiously past the boat all night - soothing!  However it meant that dropping the mooring buoy in the morning had to be managed carefully to avoid being pushed back onto the boat astern of us.  Once safely out of the river we headed west to round Penmarc"h point that had more cardinals (keep clear marks) than I've ever seen in one area.  After the point we got our cruising shute up and had a satisfying few hours of fast sailing before arriving at Sainte Evette just to the west of Audierne to pick up a buoy for the night.

Distance travelled 36 miles.
