Day 6

The forecast bad weather has arrived with very high winds.  So today is a rest day and also an opportunity to prepare the boat for our next leg.

Biscay!

So fill up with water, shop for food, a quick clean of the boat and prepare to leave tomorrow around 9.30am.  For our 370 ish mile, 3 to 4 day crossing as the weather stands, at the time of writing the blog.

One interesting exhibition here is the fishing boats graveyard.  Once a fishing boat is at end of life they run it up onto the beach and let it decay naturally.  It sounds awful but in context looks quite cool and certainly attracts lots of tourists.
