At 9.00am this morning when all the offices opened Nick was straight on the phone to the Sailmakers we had identified in Vigo on Google. Quantum Sails were the first to answer. Fortunately the Sailmaker could speak English and gave us the good news that he would come out and fix the sail that very afternoon. True to his word he appeared right on time and hand stitched the new sliders onto the sail. He also supplied a few spares for good measure. Not that we are intending on needing them again, ahem…..
Whilst we were waiting for him we contacted the marina office who arranged for a new light to be delivered by 4pm today and agreed to fit it this afternoon.
As before they turned up as arranged and an hour later we are good to go.
So a minor miracle that we got both issues fixed in the same day and we are almost ready to start our journey again.
